FAQs

What is Hospovin wine training?

Hospovin training is unlike any other wine training! We avoid the intimidating and confusing terminology associated with wine, using simple language to deliver true impact. We focus on 3 entirely unique areas:

1 - Simple, down to earth methods, making wine easy to understand for people of all experience levels.

2 - Sales focus, delivering direct sales boosts for our clients, focused on USPs and how best to use them.

3 - Hospovin wine training is created with a specific focus on hospitality wine sales and service.

Do Hospovin offer WSET training courses?

No. Hospovin use our own unique training methods to deliver wine training

that is made specifically for hospitality, and unique for every client.

Our bespoke training programmes are often branded to deliver personalised certification for our clients.

Do Hospovin deliver spirits or cocktail training?

No. Hospovin focus solely on wine training, bringing maximum benefit to all wine lists! : )

Are all Hospovin wine training courses bespoke?

All of our training is created with a focus on the exact wines, menus and requirements of

each individual venue we train. However, the sample courses on our website will give you

a good idea of the general themes our training sessions are always based around.

Do Hospovin deliver public wine training sessions that anyone can join?

Unfortunately not. All Hospovin training sessions are delivered for

our specific hospitality clients and take place on their premises.

Where does Hospovin training take place?

Hospovin do not operate our own training facilities. Our training is

carried out on the premises of each individual restaurant or hotel we are training.

Do Hospovin deliver remote wine training?

Yes. Whilst most of our training is carried out on the premises of each

individual restaurant or hotel we train, we do offer remote options for clients who find

it difficult to bring all staff together in one place, such as cruise or aviation clients.

How long do Hospovin training sessions last?

Individual training sessions themselves usually last between 2-3 hours, depending on content.

However, we offer training courses ranging from these short sessions, to full days of training,

and even ongoing bespoke training programmes, with certification branded for our clients.

How many members of my staff can take part in a Hospovin training session?

In order to encourage maximum engagement and maximise learning potential,

we recommend 8-10 staff as a rough limit for each individual wine training session.

However, we appreciate there are times when larger groups need training, so we can be flexible.

For example, we've delivered pre-opening training for entire front of house teams due to time constraints.
